Bored bored bored!...well not really. Been doing some downloading ey....Sweeeett speeeed...speedy speed sweet. Sweet sweet DSL (or I think it is). Fast. Saw a 5.1 Mbps at one time. Happy happy joy joy. :).
Today me and my roomie went to see a woman in charge of my room and got the paperworks sorted out. Here in Göttingen, you can sign up with an organization called Studentenwerk Goettingen where they will set you up with a nice place of your choice (single apartment, two rooms, four rooms etc) for a pretty decent price (cheap by most standards). All you have to do is fill up a form, pay €5 and attach a recent passport picture with it. There is a waiting period but if you found a place already through the internet like this one site, then you could skip that period. You will however, still have to pay the fee and attach a photo. But hey, its a great deal yo! In Australia people are paying a week's worth of rent for what I pay a month here! Then again a friend is paying 1/3 of that in Malaysia. Anyways, check out the website for pricing etc. Trust me, it's affordable. Note however, renting through the organization is only possible up to 4 years (due to the super affordableness—it is highly unfair for one to rent it for-ever no?!).
